Erickson (The worlds fourth largest advertising agency) as junior
art director with 'Euroteam' (an international team of creative
people working on pan European advertising campaigns) in London.
Lived two
years in Norway as an art director for the McCann Erickson office
in Oslo.
Returned
to London working on international creative campaigns.
Moved to Vienna
Austria as art director with McCann Erickson Vienna.
Started own
advertising agency in Vienna Austria. Voted president of art directors
club Vienna.
Joined McCann
Erickson Worldwide in London as creative director.
Moved to
Kenya as creative director McCann Erickson Nairobi. Joined Ogilvy&Mather
in Dubai as co creative director.
Became creative
director McCann Erickson Africa, based in Johannesburg. responsible
for creative output in sub
Saharan Africa.
International creative director for Africa on Coca Cola, Gillette.
Joined Publi-graphics
Beirut as creative director.
Joined Afkar
McCann Erickson Jeddah Saudi Arabia as creative director working
on pan Arab campaigns.
Asked to transfer
to McCann Erickson Austria as creative director.
After winning
numerous creative awards over the years and dedicating my entire
life to the job of advertising...
...I left to become a full time artist in 2003.
2004, Held
exhibition 'In The Minds Eye' at the Stadtgallerie Vienna, Austria.
An exhibition
of large format oil paintings inspired by video interviews with
persons born blind. The interviews were used as inspiration for
large format oil paintings depicting their 'vision' of how the
world is ( in their minds eye) as well as their daily lives, hopes,
dreams and aspirations. (ongoing creative project)
Returned to
Kent,England to establish artbarnstudio.
Currently working on exhibition of artworks on environmental issues,
continuing 'In the minds eye' interviews, undertaking private
commissions and digital movie making.
